You rush toward the closing elevator doors, make eye contact with the guy inside, and he just... stares. Doesn't move. Doesn't even twitch toward the button. You jam your arm through, gasping, and he goes, "Oh, were you trying to get in?" as if you'd been casually browsing the hallway and he'd somehow missed your frantic sprint. The doors open again, and he nods at you like he's doing *you* a favor by letting physics work.
