I just told my girlfriend I was thinking about quitting my job, and she responded with a yawn so deep I thought she was going to dislocate her jaw. I paused. She caught my eye and apologized profusely, insisting she cared, she was just tired. Then I finished my sentence and she yawned again—this time I'm pretty sure it was a standing ovation from her body to cut me off.
