when you walk into a room and completely forget why you went in there in the first place
I walk into the kitchen with absolute certainty and purpose, stand there for a full thirteen seconds like I'm waiting for my brain to load, then just grab a random spoon and leave. My hand is now committed to this spoon for the rest of the day — I cannot return it, cannot question it, can only accept that somewhere in my subconscious I desperately needed this specific spoon and my conscious mind is simply not invited to that meeting.
