You spend three minutes working your nail into the corner of a sealed package like you're defusing a bomb, feel that perfect little grip, apply pressure with the confidence of someone who's done this before—and snap. Now you're bleeding slightly, the seal is still intact, and you're standing there holding a broken nail like evidence at a crime scene while the scissors sit in a drawer you refuse to walk to on principle.

Me siento a descansar con la certeza de que todo está en orden. Tres segundos después, mi cerebro me susurra: "La luz". No la luz de donde estoy. La del otro cuarto, a kilómetros de distancia, brillando para nadie, para nada, como si guardara un secreto importante. Me levanto como si la casa estuviera en llamas. La apago. Vuelvo a la cama sabiendo que en cinco minutos olvidaré apagar la del baño.

etiqueta de precio olvidada

Compré un suéter de trescientos euros, lo usé todo el día en la oficina, y recién en casa descubrí que la etiqueta de precio había estado pegada en mi espalda como un cartel de "Se vende". Lo peor: mi jefe me había visto así en tres reuniones y nunca dijo nada. Simplemente asumió que era mi precio de mercado actual.
