I was mid-sentence about my cat's weird rash when she nodded and said "totally" — still scrolling. So I switched to "anyway, I've decided to commit a crime," and she kept nodding. Got all the way to "large-scale embezzlement" before she looked up and asked me to repeat the cat part.
